Good Morning,
I thought I would revisit this verse. I honestly can't remember if I sent this with Java before but, I know it came up in a conversation I had.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.I believe the hardest part for me is after you realize you are going down that road, I get mad at myself. I need to realize that it is 'common' and God knows it. Even if I don't think its common, "I" need to stop trying to fix things myself and ask God for the way out. What I must be willing to do is "Listen and Do" what God is asking. Through this process, God will help me to change and live by His word when I am willing to submit to His will. If I am successful, I won't have to worry about that temptation anymore.
Now I need to remember this when I'm sitting in the ditch.
